Drag Vs Road Race Cams
I'm building up my third AMC V8 (360, track beater) and on my previous two v8s, I've been stuck using the same cam as all the other guys in my club (Comp cams Xtreme Energy .480 lift). I want to build a 6500RPM road race style motor. should I be gettin an custom ground cam, or should the old .480 work? I have everything else finished, ready to assemble, I just need a cam! thanks!
