My previous post was not relevant to this thread.. you said what was the easy way.. and I guessed what you always say which is LT1, and I went ahead and said that I might be doing a swap soon and join you who has done this and Smokey, who's also done this.

lt1 swap is by far NOT easy... i would never recommend it to some1 who wants an easy project... but if you are going to do a lt1 swap, the easiER way would getting a complete setup with harness, emissions, sensors and everything... not just a long block...

i've said it over and over, i say lt1 all the time because people ask how they could get power, and the swap is a definate way to get power... but it is by no means easy

well he doesn't mean just the block... the definition of short block is the block and rotating assembly (crank, connecting rods, pistons)... a long block (what he is selling) is a short block plus the heads and intake... but as my second post said... there is MUCH more needed in order to make an lt1 run...

don't let me discourage anyone... but i'm just telling you how deep the water is before you jump in...

i won't bullshit anybody, i'm not gonna tell you that you can do it in a very short time and its gonna be cheap and easy... cuz its not, its tough as shit... i can't even tell you how many days i stormed off pissed as fuck at certain things... i've taken weeks at a time off from my car because it tried my determination so much. i don't want anybody to be blindsided by how tough something is... sorry if it hurts your feelings...

i know the feeling of getting pissed of too with this kind of project, and I haven't even started putting the new motor in, hell i dont' even have it assembled. I know i'm gonna have the time of my life working out all the little bugs and kinks that come with this task.
