Re: Porsche 917 Long Tail 24h Le Mans 1970 #3
Ok, next...
I let the pictures talk, i f you like to know something feel free to ask me. i will answer you always. Here i used crystal clear to realise the glas covers. Making tubes for the steering. First i took wire as shown, then ad bare metal foil. After i took it from the rod away and move the part in position and paint. Another thing was the liquid visible for the pedal hydraulics. I just drilled a hole in from the underside. Then paint one with clear yellow and the other with brown washing. then glue a round clear part to close the hole, finish and great effect. Lokks like real. More work on the brakes. Fixed. And here you can see where i add the steering tube. |

Re: Porsche 917 Long Tail 24h Le Mans 1970 #3
Next one.... Zack Zack...
Making the front cooler with cooper wire, shrink tube fittings and fasteners. And fix in the car. It becomes more and more a car. Fix the seats and the belts. View to the rear, because you will never see it like this again after ther rear cover ist fixed. I realised the rear glas in the cockpit with some trash. Actually it is movebal but i fix it with crystal clear. So no one will play arround with it. For the moment no more work to do in the cockpit. Now lets wire the engine room more. In the front also i add the Pedal hydraulic stuff and wires. A small step by step how i connect everything, so you can see what kind of work it is. And for shure for you something to learn. Some Sakatsu metal fittings, the best and most expensive i ever baught. But woth. Thats how my table looks, dont worry i know where is everything..... Sorry i was playing arround, back to the step by step. Almost done. And fix in the car. Continue soon..... |

Next one...
Making some really small stuff. Making the wires for rear lights. Making the small side windows open. Add the left parts in the engine room and making all used and dirthy. Ok, finish. Now pictures by daylight. Thats it, hope you enjoy it. At the moment i am working for the Model Factory Hiro 917/30 Sunoco which will be a diorama Garage with many many details and many jokes. I will make WIP from this soon. Take Care and Best Regards Roger |

Stunning work on your chassis details. You still need to put Good Year Blue rings!!!
