Noble M12 GTO
There are only two words to describe this car: Abso-bloody-lutely incredible.
Like the elise, this car was designed around the chassis and weight issues and then made workable by adding a suitable engine. 0-60 in 3.5 and some of the highest marks from reporters like Tiff Needell. Basically, this is a high end track car for $82K and 350 hp. My question is why do people revel in cars like the Zonda or CC8S when they're beaten by this car. Yes I can see why the Enzo and C-GT have the companies behind them but still, common, this car is incredible. Also, has anyone tried to do an engine swap on this car since it can be bought sans engine and tranny? If so, what were the results. Because it seems to me that putting even 30k into this car would make it almost unrivaled.

Re: Noble M12 GTO
I live down the street from the place where all of the engines and tranny's and installed in the US Nobles. They are gorgeous. So far, the installer has only put the OEM motor and tranny in the US versions.

Yeah, it got the two thumbs up from Tiff. That's good enough for me.

i sent an e-mail to 1g racing (the us dealer) and they sent me an information packet on the noble m12 gto... the car is absolutely amazing. you can buy the rolling chassis totally complete minus drivetrain for 51k... i figured for around 70k you could have a car that would rival almost any exotic.
i have the top gear video on my site. www.1clubspeed.com |

Truly an amazing vehicle! Completely balanced in every aspect. I have two question though:
1. Is the vehicle legal in the US for road use or only for track use? 2. And what is the most powerful engine they have tested with this car? Is it the V6 Twin Turbo Ford engine? |
