2005 Avalanche- cabin filter????

Anyone know if these have a cabin filter??? Just bought this and it has a cigarette smell in the interior. I want to change the cabin filter if it has one while I'm doing everything I can to deodorize it.

Auto or reg AC controls?
Check local parts place for listing on cabin filter.

Cabin filters are for filtering outside air to inside.

Cigarette smoke inside is smoke oder made inside and has penatrated into everything inside.

I have even saw it get inside the car/truck computers and heater and ac cores
Nasty stuff and very hard to deordize.

Some auto dedail shops may be able to help you there.
Or check parts places for deodorize stuff.

Good luck and let usknow how it goes.

I had already bought some professional deodorizer, just haven't used it yet. I've shampoed the carpets, door panels and headliner and it has greatly reduced the odor. I also had the gauge cluster out to repair and noticed a lot of dust/ash in there and did my best to get it out.

I just want to replace the cabin filter if it has one. Truck has auto temp control with dual control dials. Thanks.

I can not find one on it.
But double check with you dealer or parts place to be sure.
Good Luck
