Question Sable frontend noise

My 95 sable has a bumping noise at low speeds when driving over rough roads. It sounds like something lose in the frontend. I've had the tierods and CV's checked and no problem there. I'm beginning to suspect the Struts..They look ok and the car doesn't bounce up and down. Mileadge is about 121,000. Any quesses from anyone out there?

sable front end noise

It sounds like the strut mounts are worn. There is a small bushing inside them that wears and allows them to clunk when the struts ahift around. If your struts have 121k on them you might as well replace them as well.

Re: sable front end noise

I hadn't thought about the mounts. When I remove the struts, I'll replace them and let you know if that takes care of the problem...Thanks for your input.
