My wife & I checked them out at a local dealership
Very nice!! Much nicer in person than in pics.
Gorgeous interior - looks like the interior of a much more expensive vehicle. The cargo area is much roomier than I would have thought. Very easy to get in & out of - the rear doors open very wide. My wife was very inpressed - when her '93 Altima finally croaks this could possibly be our next vehicle. Tho I prefer the Infiniti FX35...we'll see, we have time to decide.

Not terribly so - you could probably get it reasonably equipped for around $38,000-$39,000. The FX35 has the same 3.5 liter V6, but it's tuned for about 280 hp & 270 lb ft of torque.
It's the FX45 that's expensive - that's about $45,000 & up & has the 315 hp V8.

Re: My wife & I checked them out at a local dealership
I looked at the FX before buying my Murano. an optioned-out Murano (leather, sunroof, navigation) is similar in price to a base FX (incl. leather and sunroof, nav is optional). Identically equipped, the FX is about 5 grand more. I didn't want leather or sunroof.
FX doesn't have room in the back for my dog (75 lb retriever), the Murano does.
