Has anyone really upgraded an XK8-R to any substantial amount?
I was wondering if anyone knows of XK8/XKR's that have been tweaked beyond factory? Or is it too complex for anyone to fool with so far? They seem like they might be more of a pain than they are worth to work on. So if anyone knows of monstrous XKRs that would make one shit their pants, post it!

I found the list of a few of them (probably all of them) on Jag-lovers.co.uk. Look under XK8/XKR and click on links.

I saw a red Paramount XKR convertible the day before yesterday - similar to the one in the picture, looked and sounded absolutely amazing.

How did you identify it as one from Paramount?

Well, I guess the body work would give it away if you were familiar enough with it. But from Swoxy's pic there aren't any badge changes on the front.

I recogined the bodywork and the wheels. I'm sure they're not exclusive to Paramount but it really looked like a Paramount car, just like the one in the picture.

It almost makes you want to pause for a moment of silent reverence. Oh to have the mind that could bring such a machine into being.
