honda civic motor siezed up

hi my 99 automatic civic 1.6 siezed up due to running low on oil, now when i try to start it it just goes click, is my motor shot or is there any way to unseize it?

No. It's junk. You can try taking the spark plugs out and turning the engine over by hand. You will need a 17mm or 19mm socket and a long breaker bar. It doesn't really matter if it turns over or not, the engine is most likely useless.

ok were do i put the 17mm socket on, the alternater pully?

No, on the end of the harmonic balancer (thats where the big pulley is at the end of the engine, down low.)

I forget which side it's on but you can turn the wheels one way or the other and reach the crank pulley through a hole in the plastic. You will need a long extension too.
