Post X3 Refuses To Start When Started & Stopped Quickly - Advice

Hi all with X3s,

This may be a repost, but I did want to let you know that my X3 2.5 resently decided to not start. It would turn over, spit, spudder and shake. It just would not quite start. I pressed the BMW Assist Repair button and they ran a system check remotely from the vehicle and as it turns out, if you start the car, move it, and shut it off very quickly it does not like this, especally in the colder weather. In the end, my (acually friendly) BMW dealership told me this and that the car was fine - just have to keep it running for a few minutes before shutting it off if it is just moving the car around the driveway or something.

Just a quick word of advice!

Joe
