Help needed ASAP!

I've got a 2000 Nissan Sentra 1.8L with ~230K miles. Over the few years I've owned it, I've replaced 2 ignition coils and the MAF sensor. About 2 months ago, it was running a little rough, and the next thing I knew, it wouldn't start. Well....long story short, it's been sitting in an Iowa summer this whole time and I just now am suddenly needing it to run again!

It cranks, but won't turn over. I can smell fuel under the hood when my wife tries to start it, and I think I hear the fuel pump whirring when I turn the key. I used a code reader, thinking it was the coils again, but didn't get a single code.

I've read through similar posts on other threads, but I'm looking for any specific help I can get for this. I'm quite the noob at DIY auto repair, and I don't have any other diagnostic tools (yet...), but I'd really like to get this fixed without paying for it to be towed, or worse, scrap the car for parts and look for another ride. Any thoughts? Thanks!
