Windshield washer nozzle retrofit
I have a 2005 LeSabre. The washer fluid nozzles are mounted on the wiper arm assemblies. I have never seen such a horrible design! They constantly freeze in cold weather. I keep a paperclip to try and clean them out but they freeze up pretty easy.
I was wondering if anyone has ever retrofitted these and installed in-the-hood washer nozzles and bypassed those on the wiper arm assemblies before? I do not think it would be too hard to do, but I've searched several keywords on the forums and online and have not found any good hits. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Windshield washer nozzle retrofit
Moving them the hood will not prevent freezing. If you want to prevent freezing buy better washer fluid. The wet-arm design is actually nice.

Re: Windshield washer nozzle retrofit
There is a reason why they sell some of that stuff so cheap......
I've never seen the good stuff freeze.......have seen dirty reservoirs pump out crap and plug the nozzles.... |
