Finally I finished the clutch wiring but still I have to paint the white piece which is the wire tensor.

It is very small... the difference between make this and buy a detail kit is that you just look at the instructions and know where to put the piece... but what happens when you see the real bike and then you must start thinking how to make the piece... It is really hard but I like it because it causes a great satisfaction in the end.

PD: You can see a hole in the oil level of the engine, I started to detail it too so I think that the next pictures will show you that oil level.

Just made the oil level window, I think is too low of oil

Also added the first wire which is the pickup coil lead, still need to put the connector but this will be done later on.

Isn't it great to be in the early stages of a new build? Where you see all possibilities for making the kit better! I always tend to make TOO many alterations so that even the simplest project end up quite advanced...

Yep, and it is important on early stages to have everything on mind (and draw and take note in a paper ) of what is to do and to do next, because making details for a kit without a detailing kit is difficult because you need to have well planned which step goes next, for example I should put the engine to the chassis but first I need to have all the extra wires etc placed in the engine... and with a detailing kit, you have the pieces, and you have an instruction or paper that tells you how and what to do.

Anyway is difficult but as I said before, it is worth it and in the end it makes you very happy.

Thank you mates! And welcome on AF kaisers_phoenix.

Well for that oil level I used my own created decal which simulates the black border image, and then I put the decal on a clear sheet and glued it in the inside of the engine, then painted the clear sheet with clear orange from Tamiya.

Here are a few pictures of the wiring process of the starter motor and also added a couple of wires which are the oil level sensor and the sidestand switch, I also added the speed sensor.

Great work so far man...I like the attention to detail, looks very spot on. I really want to do this on a ZX-14 but am having trouble locating wiring diagrams and such..where did you find yours?

I found mine searching in google I came in those websites that are for upload files so I'm not sure if this is payware but I think it is.

You can check google by writing something like ZX-14 repair manual.
