I'm glad that you follow and comment my build

Exhaust is one of the critcal step in my build process. First I paint it with alclad chrome (next time i will try mr hobby super metallic plate silver while alclad is absolutely not touchproof). Than i use very thin tamiya acril clear orange, red, blue and gunze smoke blue on very low pressure. than i use some tamiya burnt red and blue powder. Finally i polish the whole pipe with graphite powder. welding is from S27 chrome decal. spring is 1mm Wave spring (quite hard to form but at the end very nice)

Unbelievably clean build! you have a great eye for detail. Earlier you mention trying Mr hobby super metallic instead of Alclad Chrome, is the mr hobby paint one you have tried before, and if so is it more durable than Alclad, which I find very fragile at times when handled! Also, what does polishing with graphite powder achieve, this is something a friend of mine mentioned, but as yet I have not tried it. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see finished bike.

I havent tried mr hobby sm series yet. but my fried tested it and in terms of touchproofness it is better.

About graphite powder, i sand some graphite from a normal (soft) pencil, than put the powder onto a soft cloth and "polish" the surface.

Was the 05' frame bare aluminum? I want to do the 04' bike and I know it was black...

There are several types available.
I used Meri kits (made for 1/24 cars for fire extingisher) but there are also some piece on the Crazymodeler p/e set which was made for this bike
