Re: SUZUKI GSX1300R HAYABUSA - Tamiya 1/12
I made the mufflers.
First, I prepared original parts to add photoetched and some screws: Then I sprayed primer (Gunze's surfacer): ...and gloss black as a base for CF and Alclad: Now, the mufflers are almost ready. I'm gonna also use some extra exhaust logos (T2M) - I'm waiting for them from Hiroboy Finished rear damper: |

Re: SUZUKI GSX1300R HAYABUSA - Tamiya 1/12
Thanks!!! I do the best I can!
Meanwhile... I finished the mufflers: I thought, that I upgrade a Tamiya's display case a little... I've bought a thin carbon sheet in R/C shop. Than I cut it to a suitable size and glued into display stand. I think the model will be look cool standing on that surface |

Nothing like a bit of understatement, . Absolutely awesome build, and attention to detail, been well worth watching this thread. gpz900ra7.

Re: SUZUKI GSX1300R HAYABUSA - Tamiya 1/12
I made the weld lines. I used a Gunze's Mr. Dissolved Putty for it. I layed a narrow lines by a edged toothpick.
In the evening I'll paint it black. When dry, I'll try to put some ''dusty'' wash on it. |
