Smaller version of Camry?

I'm looking for a smooth, quiet ride, something like you'd get in a Lexus or Camry, but in a smaller car, preferably a hatchback of some sort. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Smooth, quiet, Lexus, hatchback?

You answered your own question mate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_CT

And if you arent in the market for hybrids, then you can't go wrong with a Subaru Impreza hatchback. The boxer engine is, in theory, 100% vibrational reciprocating; obviously it isnt 100% in real life, but it's NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) levels are quite low for the power and economy you get. Then you also get a great AWD system with it too!

Thanks elemein. I was at a Lexus dealership, but they never brought up the CT. Will have to go back and check it out. I take it you wouldn't recommend the Prius?

I "could" reccomend the Prius. Though I thought you wanted a capable or luxurious car; and the Impreza and CT are both that. The Prius is a fine car, but when you're after more of a quality ride, I can't reccomend it.
