Ferrari 360 Spider
Hey Guys
Alex's words have resonated with me, Yes I have been lazy & not posting my builds, I should have been better, So feeling inspired, I'm gonna give it a go & build (& post) something without being lazy! Was staring at the stash & wondering what I could build, that I either A) Had , B) Didnt need extras for, C) Something decent, not too easy but not too hard. Then it hit me, & I had a laugh out loud moment. Why not build a 360 spider.... So. The Kit. Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
Good start. I always wanted to build one, I have 3 kits, but after building 2 coupes I kinda lost interest (essentially the same kit) and never built one.
I think blue/tan is a good color combo. Or maybe silver/red?

Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
I like Blu TdF and Blu Elettrico.
If you want to add stripes you could also add some "sportier" transkit. But then it will of course be no quick OOB build any more. Azzuro California or Grigio Alloy could also work.

Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
My opinion would be blue with a cream interior.
Looking forward to more updates. Philip |

Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
Nice subject, the hardest part is always picking the body color.

Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
Hey Guys
Made some progress over the weekend! Molded the 360CS rear hatch "bump" into the Spider hatch. Needs some sanding & a few touchups, but pretty happy with it so far, its a tiny bit higher than the 360CS but thats ok with me. Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
I have this kit as well, but I picked it up for extra parts since my dog chewed up the engine after I glued it together.
I need to get back on my 360 built as well. This is starting out nicely. |

Re: Ferrari 360 Spider
Hey Guys
Made some progress over the weekend! Laid down some Zero paint! I forgot how awesome this stuff is, so easy to spray, great coverage & looks fantastic without much work. IMG_0604 by Ashley Jones, on Flickr IMG_0605 by Ashley Jones, on Flickr IMG_0606 by Ashley Jones, on Flickr IMG_0607 by Ashley Jones, on Flickr Also decided to go a slightly different way with the interior, istead of the generic tan colour I thought I'd go with a more modern interior colour, like this GT4 Lusso. 5lor5079 by Ashley Jones, on Flickr What do you think?
