08 Explorer trans coolant line leak

OK had new radiator installed a few months back at Firestone. Blew a trans coolant line. Had them replaced with ford part at a friends garage. Lower hose on driver side is leaking now. Looks like where the hose goes into the fitting. Can't find the fitting anywhere and they are telling my buddy at the dealer that I need a new radiator? I just spent over $1k having the new radiator done. Is there anyway to get around this? Aftermarket trans cooler? Any way to fix the fitting? Junk hard fitting? Any of these ides make sense?
