2013 Yamaha M1

Hey guys! first of all id like to say thank-you for emptying my wallet and making me feel as though all my work is garbage! haha I made a 2009 estoril M1 a while back and i was happy with it...but after seeing some of the mega builds on here ive just been forced to fork out for another kit as well a top studio set (the cheap one) and some other detaily stuff and im going to do a decent job this time, dammit!

Anyways, i got the 2009 tamiya M1 and im hoping to go with a 2013 livery. as i have ZERO money this aint gonna be a mega detail build but i will be doing some scratch work to go along with the detail kits. Oh yeah, and if anyone can hook me up with some decals for either Rossi or Crutchlow for this season i would very much appreciate it!

The Build :- so far just the block and a bit of other stuff, nothing too interesting...

Im pleased with the detail on the valve cover, however if somebody can give me a clue as to how to scratch build the piping on the engine that would be awesome!

Did use a Chrome finish first of all but i felt it was too dark. Also did the Radiator, minus delicate details...

Im gonna get on with the fine details once i know i wont be fiddling with it all the time so just paint and plastic for now really!

Not 100% on Flickr, but when using hosts such as Photobucket the image code starts with IMG in square brackets and ends with /IMG in the same. Is this the sort of text you are embedding in your post?

Re: 2013 Yamaha M1

Also, has anybody used this chain set before? its the MFH one, comes with nice white metal sprockets for Ducati, Honda and Yamaha but the chain spacers are sterene or resin then with etched chain plates.

Any heads up or advice would be much appreciated! Cheers Guys

Re: 2013 Yamaha M1

You can use windex glass cleaner to strip Tamiya acrylics.
