Lovely work so far! I have this one in my stash but have always been put off by the decals...they look like the may be really tricky to apply!

Zed said that you copied the Campagnolo wheels from another model would be the Yamaha YZR500 Tamiya or another.
The brake discs and the crown of the transmission into place properly or needed to adapt?

I have a kit to mount this, congratulations for the excellent work, I'm following.

hug

The front wheel brake disc hubs are more wide, it's easy to enlarge the wheel hub ho le with a file. The rear wheel is more large, so it's necessary to reduce the ticinese of the wheel hub, otherwise the rear swingarm will not colse.

Re: Kawasaki KR1000F 1981 1/12 scale Tamiya

I deleted the fake wheels, I rebuilt the wheels with plastic pipes.
I made an infinite number of welds, they are barely visible in the picture with the black paint. I painted simulating intense wear.

Re: Kawasaki KR1000F 1981 1/12 scale Tamiya

zed red - this is a great subject - I love those older race bikes
when men rode the bikes without traction control and ride by wire and sticky tires.
the days before telemetry and electronic controls
excellent work on the engine and frame detail
anything new to post?

Re: Kawasaki KR1000F 1981 1/12 scale Tamiya

The bike is almost complete.

These are the jobs to complete the mechanics:

- Brake hoses
- Throttle cables
- Clutch cable with spring
- Tachometer cable
- Radiator fittings with top studio
