2004 camry front sway bar bushings
Anyone have any tips for replacing the sway bar bushings they are above the sub frame and look like a tough job but must be done the rattle noise is driving the madam nuts!

It's not as hard as it looks. Pay attention to the position of the split in the bushing and install them in the same orientation.
Tighten the bolts to 14 ft-lbs. If the sway bar is corroded under the bushing, take a piece of emery cloth and polish it until it is shiny. Check the links at the end of the sway bar. Some have grease fittings. Grease them if they exist. Check you rear bushings also.

Re: 2004 camry front sway bar bushings
Sway bar bushings replaced and the rattle is gone .The passenger side bushing was not too bad but the driver side was a real pain with not enough room to work. had to lower the sub frame an inch to get it done.
