engine immobilizer car will not start 2007 mustang

Ford said that the keyfob is not ford device. the keyfob has a ! that lights up when you push the button. Car will not start if it is not in the car.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure what your question really is. If the fob has an LED on it, then Ford is probably right, it's not factory. Does it have any brand information on it? How about an FCC ID?

Are you wanting to remove the functionality from your car? Are you wanting to get a spare fob? Are you just wanting to understand what the system does?
