Question Need Electrical Diagram of 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

Where can I find a schematic of the AC-Heater circuit? Would like to find a free one, but will pay if I HAVE to. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. It would be for a 2005 Grand Caravan. I need to know ASAP. Without my van I have no job. No job no money to fic it. Thank you for your help. Would like to say I DID go to the Dodge web site, but only saw a download of the manual which I already have. It does not have any electrical diagrams at all.

The link you sent was to a library in Ohio. It asked for my Library Card which of course I do not have since I am in FL. lol But thanks for giving me an idea. I will check the library here. If some chance you have another link please let me know. Thanks for trying.

Try this link:

http://www.madisonpubliclibrary.org/

Scroll down to Section Research & References and click on the EBSCOhost, then scroll down to Auto Repair Reference Center, (ARRC) clickn on it and choose year, and make. Then go to Wiring Diagrams and click on the AC.

Hope this helps

Re: Need Electrical Diagram of 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

I went to the link you suggested, but it came up I still am not on their database and asks for a library card number. I clicked around, but it would not let me search without a card. Thank you for trying to help. I found a link to our library here and will try that. Car makers USED to include an electrical diagram in the manuals. Guess they really do NOT want people to work on their own cars. People would not HAVE to work on their own cars if mechanics and shops did not charge $85 an hour, with a one hour minimum for a job that only takes 10 min. Almost as bad as an ER doctor that is really a Practical Nurse charging $189 for 10 min. of their time. The every day working person just can not afford it. Sorry, bout that, I will get off my soapbox now. LOL Thank you so much for your help. You have a Wonderful day!

Re: Need Electrical Diagram of 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

It may only take 10 minutes but you already have an hour invested in just trying to find a wiring diagram?

If you would have posted the engine size and whether or not you had automatic or manual heater controls I could have had a diagram posted in about 3 minutes for you.

What is the problem? There are many here that can rattle off specific things to look at or try for your particular problem. I find it hard to believe that an a/c wiring problem would render your vehicle immobile?

Re: Need Electrical Diagram of 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

First of all my van runs! The fan does NOT! I use my van as a taxi so I need it to have AC/Heat!! Have checked everything except the resistor which is probably what is the problem. But would like to have a schematic of ALL the electrical wiring in the van to keep on file in case something else goes wrong. My van is a 3.3L, automatic tranny, manual control on heat/ac. I just checked with the library system here, but their research engine does not have Auto Repair, so I will have to go to the library and get it unless someone here can send me a link to get one. I appreciate all the help.

Egads! I sent my old link. Tempfixit's should work. If not try this one:

http://www.oplin.org/search/google/a...itesearch=#195 When it appears click the "Auto Repair Reference Center ARRC" link from the search result

Re: Need Electrical Diagram of 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

The fan is what cools the engine. The blower motor is what pushes cold/hot air into the interior of the car. If the blower is not working on any speed than check for power on the black wire at the blower motor. If there is no power than you can work your way back to the fuses and relays. If there is power check for continuity between the two pins on the resistor that the dark green wire and the dark blue with gray wire go to. If there is no continuity than the resistor is bad.

When everything is plugged in you can ground the Dark Green wire and the fan should run full speed.

Hey Airjer. What's your source? Looks just like ARRC who I believe uses Chiltons.
