driver seat locked in position please help me
Yesterday when I stepped out of my car the driver's seat moved by itself . It moved all the way forward and the back moved all the way down in a restong position. When I tried to use the controls to move it back it will not budge. The controls don't work at all. I really need help with this. I am a single mother and not able to take this car to the shop. I am also 6 ft tall so there is no way I will be able to drive my car with the seat in this position. PLEASE HELP! if anyone knows anything I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

try pushing both memory buttons at the same time. this should move the seat all the way back and down if other things are working ok

Re: driver seat locked in position please help me
Look inside the door jam, those wires get broken. had this happen to me with door lock wire, seat wire, window wire and seat wire. You have to make a jumper because they made the wirers too short. Hope this helps.

Re: driver seat locked in position please help me
this has also happened to me.... i accidently touch the seat memory buttons on the door and the seat goes all the way forward and starts to close up on you ... kind of frightening while you still sitting in it, hit the seat memory 2 and it goes back to its original position
