1996 dodge neon cranks but no spark!!!
the motor cranks over just fine but wont start.and to help out with this process the battery is brand new and the spark plugs. the coil pack was just changed too. the problem happened a week ago as well. i towed it home and changed the pugs and coil pack and it started fine and drove for a week. now it did the same thing. the fuel pump is fine. what could be wrong? crank sensor?

well i got it started again. i went under the car and shook the wires to the crank sensor and then the car started right up. could this be a sensor problem or a wire to the sensor problem? im leaning towards the wire

crank shaft sensors fails all the time ...when engine gets hot the coilwinding may open... that says to pcm, no crank = no spark
