Hey, as long as this is bumped...there's a new product in the US that's essentially the same as Tamiya tape, but available in "household" widths that standard household masking tape comes in. It's so nice to be able to be wasteful with a product this good

It is called Shurtape Gold.

Nice tutorial, thanks! I'm a huge Tamiya fan, but I like 3M Scotch "Delicate Surface" masking tape. Just like the Tamiya, it makes a nice, clean line and doesn't bleed if you burnish the edges.

And it's a LOT cheaper.
