Volvo 91 Leaking Front Seal

I'm looking at buying a 91 Volvo 740 Wagon. There are a few things that concern me a bit, but the main one is an oil leak under the hood.
It's not ending up on the ground and we're pretty sure it's from the front seal. Hoping someone will (honestly) say "Oh Yeah! That happens all the time. It's not really a problem, but here's how you fix it."
Anyone know?
