TOMMY KAIRA ZZ2 (the greatest)

Im sad to say dat...the frankfurt show was cancelled ..and never got to see the unveiling of ZZ2. But Tommy kaira would have been great to see
how the final production look like..and press to show its specs and interior... If you dont know ,what is a Tommy Kaira ! its a $90K sportcar
mid engine / all wheel drive / RB26dett (nissan skyline gtr motor) @ 550hp / 6pot front/4pot rear brakes/ F/R aero diffusers / full roll cage / and all kinds of options u want
it to be..like a v8 or v12 ( i dun kno is thats true! ) / navigation sys / LCD screens.....

the ZZ2 is suppose to huv a topspeed of 210mhp./0-60 ????/ 1/4 ????

so what do u think!

Frankfurt wasnt cancelled! Maybe parts were, but the show still happened.

0-60 should be in the mid to low 3's. 1/4 in the 11s. Really fast. They will probably put in any engine you want, as long as it fits. And they will be made in England most likely.
A really neat, light car. Quite a step up from the ZZ coupe, though

It kicks ass. I was hoping that it would have a V12 though.

Bah, who needs a V12 when you have a RB26? Those motors can be built to sickening specs.

Sorry Chris, but Tomita Kaira has this thing with Nissan, they originally started making tuner skylines, and then made their own production models. The ZZ-3 had an SR20 I think, but it used carburetors as opposed to the nissan SFI. Go figure.

I'm a little confused here
I know they tuned skylines, they have a massive amount of aftermarket parts for them. I know they made some of their own production cars, like the ZZ coupe and roadster (don't know the engine, but they had 180-200hp, made mostly of aluminum, weighed about 1800lbs, and didn't even have carpet!) I didn't know about the ZZ3 though

I think the ZZ-3 was introduced in 2000 or 2001. I had a R&T issue with a little bit on it. They went on about the whole carburetor thing, so that's where I got my first info about them. I played GT 2 and found TKs in it, got a ZZ-3 and tuned it to around 300 hp. That one had a SR20DET, so it must have been Japan spec. Track TKs are rare, but very fun, at around 1500 lbs, they are like an Elise with a ridiculously powerful engine

I'll drag this one up from the depths to add what I've read.

Powerplant: RB26DETT tuned to 400kw (N1 perhaps??)

Suspension:inboard, coil-over strut suspension and six pot brake calipers. The rear getting large rotors and with four potters.

Apparently the GT-R parts bin was raided for a few other bits on the car besides the engine, not sure which parts. ATTESSA perhaps We can only hope

Pics: canman's site www.gtrcentral.com

Notice anything about the above pic?

Mmmmm RB26DETT :licker: :licker:

All I see is that it looks like its left-hand drive, so maybe its headed for the US? The e-brake looks wierd too, at least to me it does. It looks like its wayyyy to close to the door... Although I have a feeling that I'm missing the blatently obvious...

Yeah, LHD, e-brake looks like it's on the passenger seat...

No leg room, instruments would be impossible to read...

Anything I missed
