Question swap a 2.0 16v into my 86 GTI

I need information and help.

I want to swap or install a 2.0 16v CIS-E into my 86 GTI, it has a 1.8 8 v CIS-E already , the question is if i change the engine do i need to change the wire instalations or just plug and play.

I really need information about this subject.

you will need to rewire the whole engine.
so it would be good to change the wiring

USE A FUSEBOX FROM THE DONOR VEHICLE OR SAME YEAR CAR. INSTALL BRAIN FROM DONOR AND MOUNT UNDER DASHBOARD.MOUNT SECOND FUEL PUMP IN SPARE TIRE HOLE. PUT IN LINE FUSES ON FUEL PUMPS,FAN MOTOR. YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF WIRES THAT GO NOWHERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING FROM AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL. I HAD SOME MINOR LINKAGE PROBLRMS DUE TO EXHAUST.IM STILL WORKING OUT BUGS, BUT ITS FAST!
