Buh Bye Ford GT
As I said in an earlier post with the announcement of Ford’s Wixom Assembly Plant the demise of the GT would not be far off. Well it is official now.

Re: Buh Bye Ford GT
Yep that is true but there will be no replacement for it now. The GT500 will be the new top of the line "performance" car from Ford.

I knew this would happen and I'm ok with it. The GT had a nice little run there and really gave Chevy a kick in the ass to step things up with its ZO6.
Who knows, maybe this thing is more than just flashy eye candy?

GT: 140k 11.6(1/4) 3468lbs 1.0g skidpad Motortrend (gt vs ferarri shoot out) z06: 66k 11.5(1/4) 3147lb 1.2g skidpad Motortrend (z06 1st drive) the z06 already does a nice job of competing w/ 100K+cars before the GT came out. Personaly i'd rather have the z06...same performance for 1/2 the money.

Re: Buh Bye Ford GT
^ motortrend is the only one i saw that didnt have the gt being faster than the z06. it has been faster in every other test ive seen, besides i think muscletang was saying that the ford gt is what caused chevy to make the new z06 that fast. ive seen timeslips on the internet of stock gts running 10.9s...
