Re: max speed in ur car?

95 Honda Accord, for which I've gotten up to 170 Km/h (105ish mph). I would have taken it faster, but being 10 years old, the suspension is no longer up to the job...

Being an NZ New car (Hence not ex-JDM), the speedo goes up to 220 Kmh, I'd say the maximum speed'd be something like 200ish

1998 Blazer - 98MPH
1996 Impala SS - 140+mph
1985 Camaro - Unknown (pulled the 2.8l V6 and squeezed in a 400sb and allison tranny, speedo wasn't recalibrated, but I wrapped the needle around once and back up to 50MPH)

So - what were the rpms? If your speedo was calibrated since then, just go at 1/2 the rpms and double the indicated speed.

Re: max speed in ur car?

On my 89 LeSabre my speedo only goes up to to 100MPH and I was still accelerating past where the needle stopped so I'd have to guess 105-110MPH.

I had a 1990 Olds 88 that the speedo only went up to 85. However, I was following my ex and her dad on a Harley. He was going a 130 at one point and I wasn't falling too far behind....but we are talking FWD v6 NA so I'm sure I was't going 130. Probably around the same 105-110 range.

Re: max speed in ur car?

You're all dumb. Don't go that fast on public roads in the US, unless you're in the middle of montana. Save it for a track.

That said I've done 110 in a rental station wagon. On a track.

PS let the flaming begin
