Legnum Shudder In Lo Revs

My wife has a 1998 ST-GDI 1800cc Automatic legnum and it from time to time tends to shudder in low revs when in 3rd gear and fourth..not majorly, but enough to be noticeable. Does has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know why and how to fix it???

appreciate any advise..

Have a look at clubvr4.co.uk and search on shudder. There are a couple of possible problems - worn parts or a faulty lock-up mechanism. Good luck.

Mounts

I had the same problem a while back, turned out that it was worn transmission and engine mounts

Re: Legnum Shudder In Lo Revs

Sometimes this issue can be sorted with a good transmission flush.

Don't forget that the GDi Legnum requires high-octane low-sulphur fuel for maximum performance and engine protection.
