99 malibu starts and dies
To all you GM techs out there I need you to lend a fellow technician a hand. My girlfriend's 99 Malibu has a problem that I am having dificulty diagnosing. It intermitantly starts and dies immediately. I have done alot of basic tests, and have not gotten very far with it. Any suggestiongs would be greatly appreciated. 99 malibu-starts and runs for about one second and then dies, you can get it to stay running if you baby the gas pedal and then it will run fine. This problem appears to be very inconsistant, fault occurs in open and closed loop, engine hot or cold, but generally when it is cold. also dies when fuel cap is removed, evap problem?
