Fiero bodywork

I'm replacing the rear bodywork on my '88 Fiero GT because of some damage. My car is Medium Red Metallic, and the rear bodywork that I'm using to replace it is from a white Fiero. My question is this: Should I have the rear bodywork painted before or after I install it on the "88? I might also want to add a Pisa front clip and some side scoops. Does that alter whether I should paint the rear bodyworks befor or after installing it?

Thanks

Re: Fiero bodywork

paint it before it goes on and dont waste any more time or money on it. Why put perfume on a dinosaur?

Paint everything ahead of time, unless you're planning on getting the whole car repainted anytime soon. It'll be easier to paint when it's off the car anyway.

If the parts are cheap, go for it. If not, save yourself the trouble and get something newer.
