Question strange noise in drivetrain#%*@!^

my 98 yukon has a bumping sound from the drive-train. The dealer
told me they all do the same ( it sounds like the u-joints are going out but there's no play in drive-line.) The sound is intermittent. I tried the dealer again they told me it rear-end windup ( were the drive-shaft spines that go in to the t-case is binding when I come to a stop because the angle of the shaft changes when stopping----
It sound like a line of s--t to me.) They told me to change the t-case oil and it should go away ($200 later ).So what do you think?

I don't know anything about Yukons and have been hoping someone who does know would have answered by now to satisfy my curiousity. But my gut feeling is that you're right, it is a bunch of s--t!
