Hey Guys

Sizable update this time! The wife took both kids to stay at her mothers for a week so I managed to get some serious work done!!

So to start with some progress shots
LB Aventador


Interior - I went with a Tricoloure theme for this one
Colours are white, Tamiya Park Green & Ferrari Rosso Corsa
























Overall I'm pretty happy with how it came out, the doors arnt the greatest fitting & the spoiler blocks the engine cover from coming up but the fitting is pretty fragile anyway. I used a mix of Photoetch & the plastic mesh parts from the Roadster + some other PE mesh I had.
For some strange reason my paint didn't like the resin diffuser, so I'm having to sand it back & repaint it again. Also managed to warp the LB diffuser wings. So thats the only thing to fix.

Next up - the Roadster!

The Roadster

After seeing this AMAZING Ad Personam Red Lambo, I decided to take my Roadster through the Ad Personam program. Which basically means anything you want on your car!









I just love the way it looks with the Forged Composite pieces.
So I set about doing it with brush painting

Step 1 - thinned Gunmetal grey over black


Step 2 - XF56 Metallic Grey


Step 3 - Silver highlights


Step 4 - Black & Smoke detailing


Step 5 - Airbrush Smoke


Step 6 - Alclad Light Sheen Clearcoat




Im pretty happy with how it came out, took a long time to do tho!

Interior - I used a resin copy of the Veneno Seats.


The Engine centre cover got the Forged Composite effect too.




Brakes are just basic Stainless Steel with Silver caliper














Hard to Photograph this colour, but I love the way it looks on the Aventadors lines. For the Roadster I decided to glue the doors shut which looks quite good with the interior anyway, mostly due to the warped body & warped chassis, Test fit revealed it was 3 wheeling, I managed to get all 4 planted by taping the body to a sloid panel & then gluing the doors in & the interior rear panel & letting it set for a few days. Sadly the roof panels dont fit anymore due to the height of the Veneno seats...

Now on to the Veneno & Revention

Heres my Veneno Chassis... I only painted 1 side & it seems to have affected it quite badly, I think i'll make up a box frame chassis for it...

Wow its been awhile since I updated!! But plently of work is going on behind the scenes.

Reventon
This was my inspiration


I decided not to do the Lightbar on the roof, just couldnt get it to look right.


Fujimi gives you the choice of either open or Closed doors, I was going with 1 open , 1 closed, but the tiny piece they supply didnt feel strong enough, it was very fragile & more likely to be broken off, so I just decided to glue the doors shut. which is a pity, the Fujimi interior is actually quite good!









Overall a pretty enjoyable build, Gonna have to get another one, now that Gravity colours has a Reventon Grey colour!

Super Leggera

Finished this off the other day, reasonable kit, had a nightmare with the side windows!











This only leaves the Veneno left to do, Got a few more CF decals to apply & have to remake the front grill area that i bent, & fix the wrapped chassis!
But for Fathers day a few months ago, I got this!


Think I'll hold off & have a break from the Lambos for a bit before starting this one!
