Re: shaking

to me it sounds like out of balance wheels or out of round tire/rim.

Most likely, here's what's going on in this situation - first off,
the wheels probably aren't rotating evenly. Consequently,
they vibrate when the vehicle is driven. At a certain speed,
the wheels begin to vibrate severe enough to cause certain
suspension components to also vibrate which then causes
the entire vehicle to vibrate.
Now, you may be asking, "What causes a wheel to rotate
unevenly?" Well, there are two possibilities. First, if a
wheel is "Out Of Balance", its weight distribution is
disproportionate, thus making for uneven rotation/vibration.
Second, a tire or rim could be what's called "Out Of Round",
a rarer condition in which the tire/rim isn't perfectly/precisely
round (usually due to a manufacturing error). As a result,
the tire/rim will rotate awkwardly and thus vibrate as the
vehicle is driven.

Have all four wheels balanced. There are two methods of
balancing - static, with the wheels off the vehicle, and
dynamic, with the wheels on. The dynamic method is best
since it takes into account the brake disk (or drum) and its
influence on a wheel's balance.
While the mechanic is balancing the wheels, he'll be able to
determine if a wheel's tire or rim is "out of round". The
wheel balancing procedure will usually correct a mild out of
round condition. However, if a certain tire/rim is extremely
out of round, it will need to be replaced.

hope this helps
