EG Civic beach cruiser.
I had been thinking about doing this before Lownslow did it for his builds, so I'm copying him, please don't judge too harshly! But this is pretty much the song that inspired this build:
Katy Perry and her "Beach Boys inspired" song can shove it... Anyway, here's the car: I wanted to make an old-school beach cruiser car, but out of a Civic. I had these cool Work Leadsled wheels, and a can of Testors lacquer system Inca Gold, and well, there you go! The surfboard is Scale Modeling by Chris (an Ebay brand), the rack and ties are scratch, as is the dufflebag. The PE details, like the air freshener and the sunglasses are from a Model Car Garage set. I smoked the corners, the markers, and the taillights. In the next picture, you'll see that I did it right hand drive (a la Corvette Summer) with an Integra dash and S2000 seats (rather common these days). The steering wheel is supposed to look wooden. I always regret trying to put detail in the Hasagawa Civic interiors because the glass is so terrible! Anyway, fun build. Neat outcome, I think. Oh, the camber is intentional. You see it a lot on dumped cars like this, unfortunately... Look! Honda meet at my garage (plus that one jerk in a Nissan that always shows up)! Thanks for looking. Comments, crits, welcome as always.

Very sharp model, very eye catching with the rims you went with. Speaking of eyes, I think the moon eyes is a really nice touch as is the surfboard. That's quite the collection sitting there in your amazing backdrop.

After how many years I still adore your photo background! Oh.. and the car is also quite nice. Neat idea, something I've never seen before. I like the wheels.

Re: EG Civic beach cruiser.
Thanks all. I thought the Mooneyes decals really went with the style of it, I know nothing on the car would be Mooneyes but I went for it anyway. I was surprised, too, how well it looked. I expected the little Civic to not really work this style so well, and that the wheels would be undersized, but I think all together it looks surprisingly appropriate. Thanks!
