1999 GMC code P0302
My truck has spit out this code 2 times. Both times I reset the code and it ran fine. Code is #2 Cyl misfire. What would you guys suggest to fix first? And is #2 the first cyl on the pass or driver side? I have the 4.8 V8. I have changed plugs and wires. Thanks

Re: 1999 GMC code P0302
Cylinder 2 is the front one on the passenger side, first thing you want to check is your spark plug, see if it is fouled up, or too carboned to work, second is how long ago did you do a tune-up? Wires wouldnt be a bad try, cheaper that some other things. If your truck has a cap and rotor, they are pretty cheap too. if it has coil packs, try the wires first. they are alot cheaper.
