More of the 'something like that.' This is explained on my site.

Differences between Zonda Versions:

There are two versions of the Pagani Zonda available: the C12 and the C12 S. The C12's engine has 394 bhp and 420 ft-lb. of torque, while the C12 S has an AMG tuned 550 bhp engine with 553.2 ft-lb. of torque. The C12 S also differs from the C12 in that this version is 50 mm longer, has an elongated "nose," has a split rear spoiler, and also has different rear light clusters.

If you are trying to tell the two apart, the C12 S' longer 'nose' looks like it has a crease in it (which makes me like the C12 better). The rear has, of course, the split rear spoiler, as well as the different rear light clusters.

For beauty, I'd take the C12. For power and speed, the C12 S. But if I had to choose one, I think I'd take the C12 just because when numbers get that high (and low), you don't really notice.

A brochure from Pagani that I received said that the Zonda C12 has 450 bhp, which I hope to look further into.

Adam

No. Just C12 and C12 S. probably (and I say this w/out knowledge, pure guessing) gonna be the only one. I think it's kinda like Lamborghini in that there is only one model.

If they say it has 450hp, then they must do some mods, like a cam, bump in compression, better exhaust, something like that.

Also, how did you get the brochure??

Thumbs up great motorcar

I am also a fan of this little-known marque, and agree that the C12/C12S represent truly EXOTIC cars. Thanks for preparing a great site on this

The more pronounced nose on the C12S is more F1 like IMO.

Am a little surprised they did not incorporate an F1 transmission (ala Ferrari 360) into the car. Even the Euro-version M3 has this.

I agree, that would be cool. Do you really own a 360 Spider?

my toys

I have a deposit on one.

FWIW, I like the F1-esque looks of the C12S better.

FYI, the deposit is on a Ferrari 360 Spider, not a Pagani Zonda C12S... although the latter is definitely still on the wish-list
