To any turbo guru's...
ok so im a bit handicapped when it comes to turbos. Ill be getting a 4.3L v6 vortec engine and i would like to turbo it. Now im not sure what to run as far as a turbo system, outlet psi, or what to do with the heads and gaskets, fuel injectors, throttle body assembly, so on and so forth... If someone could help me on this crap I'd really apreciate it.

Re: To any turbo guru's...
Have you looked in to the differences between your engine and the ones used in the GMC Syclone and Typhoon? That might be a place to start. I'm not sure how difficult it is to source the parts and ECM for a Syclone/Typhoon but there are enthusiast groups for those vehicles that may have already addressed this.

What's the 4.3 in?
Won't be worth anything to boost or build up with performance mods on a V6 engine in a fullsize truck. If it's smaller truck or is a car, then I'd say have at it! It's not turbo but I've heard some decent stuff about the Wynjammer super charger. |
