Mini delivery van ????
I went to a car show this summer that featured Mini's. I instantly fell in love with them.
There were a few 2 door mini delivery trucks there. Anyone know where I can get some info on them? I'm thinking of doing a project with a 'little' car and that body would be absolutely perfect. Anyone know if someone makes a fiberglass body kit? |

They weren't new vehicles. They looked to be about 20 years old or so. I'm kicking my self for not asking the owners when I had the chance.

I'm a newbie here with a 1979 Mini 1000 sedan and a 1965 Mini van, a 2 seater cargo van, we got it last summer out in Saskatchewan. We are in Ontario. It's a cool little machine! Other than it's been painted a time or 3, it's not been changed or modified in any way.

Re: Mini delivery van ????
I have a couple of vans in England which I am bringing to the USA. They will be restored, and Siryun is correct they had rough lives. Also when new there was no purchase tax on them. If they had a knock the insurance comopanies would write them off and the owner would get a new one. A lot went to the crusher. Vans are great and very cool.

Re: Mini delivery van ????
Being a member of the BMW Car Club of America I have received advance notice of several new Mini products in the pipeline.
A longer wheelbase chassis is coming in the next generation Mini. There will be a five door wagon (easily make into a van) and maybe even a pickup! |
