I drilled out each head as there was a place to do it. The dissy was alot harder because it was so small .
Most times i drill seperate holes in the dissy and wire it in the same order as the real thing, but this time i had to drill one big hole in the centre and only "just" got all 9 wires into it.
Heres the tool to use for those who have never seen the parts to use when doing this.
Its a very small drill which can take very tiny drills. The one in it is the one for the wires. You change the chuck on it depending on the drill size.
Hope this helps out a bit

That's cool, thanks. What sizes are those bits? The smallest one I own (at the moment  ) is 1/16" (~1.59mm). I need to get some tiny ones.

Do pin-vices have moving parts? Or do you just twirl them?

The very end of it turns in your hand so it is very easy to use.
Not sure on the drill size...getting to old to remember !!!

When i got the drills i went to a place that sells small drills and took all the wires i mostly use with me and he measured them with a micrometer and got the drills to match

Looks like it is coming along pretty well there mate!! Great attention to detail on that engine. I have one suggestion if you haven't already done so. you might want to give the body a custom look. Monotone color scheme would look nice on this. Maybe frenching the headlights and such. Just a thought.

DVS......I've been thinking along those lines but i've spent ages looking around the net for pics and the more i see of them done in one nice simple colour the more i'm starting to like that idea.
Well here's a little sneak look at the ride height
Spent the day with the drills/files etc etc to finally come up with a look that i think is "spot on" :flash: :flash:

Body is primmed now and awaiting a colour.

:bandit: Warren, don't be put off by that it's not the same kit you're
doing. It's an old Revell Willys with opening doors and trunk
