Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

wow as a big fan of Nomuken i am excited about your work. Are you making the same version twice or is that two different cars? the one with neons looks like his newer rims. keep up the good work.

A long, long time ago i can still remember how that thread used to make me smile. The wires in the engine bay are awesome. I'll put something like yours to my Supra. ^^

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Allright, after a loong brake, a few damages and changing plans... I sayd it, it´s back!

As I sayd before, I build a new one and the 2004 version which I started here with engine will be the 2006 version and the new 2006 kit will be the 2004 version.

I planned to build the ´04 version wing less, with standart R34 mirrors and the air hole in the left headlight. But after seeing through my references (I lost some importand pics bc of HDD crash ), I´m not sure if the version is accurate. Hole in headlight version had small mirrors and the wing sometimes. Then I have to look closely which is green or blue interior version.

Anyway, the completed interior needs a new dashboard, I think a modified standart R34 one, bc Aoshima has only the CF version which was used at end of 2005 version. So, now I think to order the 2005 version as well and build it like a street car and steal the stripped interior for my TopSecret R34.

What I also don´t like, are the 2006 wheels, they are too big! So both will have the older wheels.

So far I started on the new interior and bc of missing cash and parts, I saved the seats and removed the molded seat belts

On the new undercarriage I removed the cat, FWD and the box at the rear which holds the switch for my lightshow now.

Glad to see it back! And glad to say it looks awesome!!!
I don't know why...But everytime I see Ken Nomura I remember of your models...Maybe because he is your avatar.

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Cool, thanks

Here the pic of the changes on the undercarriage. I had to add some more styrene to completed the part to fit the 4door Skyline.

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Followed this amazing progress right from the very start...love the fact the finish line is so close now. Great work on the engine and engine bay, it's helping me alot with how to do my own. Not 100% sure about the neons but I know will look awesome anyhow. Great stuff!
