McLaren F1 door actuation

So I had this idea to mod the Aoshima McLaren F1 (1998 Le Mans #40) to have a fully working door system. Been checking out various sites and the closest I've come are a few front-view gifs of the door opening, and the GT longtail brochure in here. Does anyone have schematics or a video or two clearly showing how the door system works? Thinking of using syringe needles of various sizes to replicate the struts, but no idea yet on the other hinges.

Thanks in advance.

I think you should look for review videos on YouTube.
Jay Leno did one and also Doug Demuro.
