2001 2.4L A/C bypass belt

A friend of mine has a locked up a/c compressor, so the belt for the power steering and a/c was destroyed. None of my local parts stores carry an a/c delete belt. Does anyone know where I can find one?

if you have the old belt.use it to guage the length of a new belt by wrapping it around everthing but the compressor(or a tape measure).any auto parts store should have the size you'll need..good luck...........Matt

I haven't been able to find a parts store that carries that size belt. I'm going to check the local pull-a-part for a new compressor.

Do you know if these cars have a cycling clutch or variable displacement compressor? If all else fails, I guess I could gut the compressor.
