parody of $7.99/gal gas prices
Shot this with a buddy of mine last night. Filmed at the station that was charging $7.99/gal for 93.
Pricks. Click here to see Video

Re: parody of $7.99/gal gas prices
I heard that people were rushing out to fill cars with $5 a gallon gas before prices went up. .

Re: parody of $7.99/gal gas prices
Prices were around $2.70/gal for 93 until people found out that Atlanta lost a major pipeline and that we had a 10 day supply. Everyone freaked and there were lines up to a mile long to get gas at some stations.
Prices spiked on Wednesday night but had settled down to $3.20ish for 93 and the govner dropped taxes on gas for the rest of the month so we should be back down to around $3.

Re: parody of $7.99/gal gas prices
It was my friend who did the editing. Took a still picture an he animated it in Flash and then combined it with the DV footage in Movie Maker, I was impressed at how well he did with it.

I couldn't really watch it. Streetfire.net is like the worst place to host videos.

Over here in the UK we pay by the litre. It was around 90 pence per litre or $1.60 and theres over 4 litres to the gallon, 4X1.6 = $6.4 per gallon! and that was before the prices went up!
