Corvette C6-R wins 9+ hour endurance race
Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta and Jan Magnussen won the GT1 class of the 8th annual Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in the number 4 Corvette C6-R. Petit Le Mans is a 1,000 mile/10 hour race.

The final round of the 2005 ALMS season is this weekend at Laguna Seca.
Johnny O'Connell says that he and Ron Fellows won the last race for the C5-R last year at Laguna Seca, but that was the last factory win for the C5-R as a C5-R won a race earlier this year in the FIA GT Championship. http://www.fiagt.com/ Corvette Championship to be determined at Laguna Seca Petit Le Mans race    Last edited by Jaguar D-Type; 12-22-2005 at 05:46 PM. |

Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta won the four hour race at Laguna Seca and the GT1 drivers championship.
