Hi
Just wanted to say hi to everyone
I do have a question though. Should I buy a 300ZX for 9 grand? I'm not sure of the specs yet (I didn't get a chance to check today) but I'll know more tomorrow. What are some pros and cons of this car? Thanks for the info guys! (and yes I know my user name is HondaHoney... lol)

Welcome to AF! Until you post the specs of the car you're considering, all I can tell you is that the 300ZX is a great car. I would've bought one that was about $11,000, but insurance would drop me if I got that car, and my insurance is already pricey on my Celica.

Ok here's what I know...

Go for it unless you got the $$$ for an NSX. 9 grand gets you no NSX. Now, get back to HA where you belong.

Mileage is a bit on the high side - but then again - it's not a turbo so things should last a little longer. Check to see if the guy was the original owner. The 1990 cars had some problems with the brake rotors - they were prone to warping. Check to see if that's been replaced.
See if there were any accidents - carfax would tell you - but an easy way to check is the 1990-1994 cars had a gray strip across the front, the 95-96 cars have it the same color as the body. The 1990 model actually has the word Nissan across the gray strip, other model years ended up with the Nissan hamburger logo on the nose. Ask if any mods have been done, if the 60K and 120K service have been performed (and by who?) How are the tires? When was the last alignment done? When were the shocks/springs replaced last? Just a few things to check. -Darryl
