Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Yes I know I'm going on veeeeery slow.......
Some details made me loose a lot of time like the wires and connectors....
Painted the rear lights....

just to try them....

polshed the rear cowls..... I have to mask the black area as in reference pictures look like satin and not gloss....

The wires I spoke about before...

the black tube is too thick so I removed it...

and this i what I made more than one month ago.... but I made the pictures only 15 day ago....
Only aluminium on the lower part of the tank and satin clear on the black number plate.... I like the contrast between gloss and satin....

Beautiful, Andrew! The finish on the tank and seat fairing is
flawless! What brand paint is that? I just acquired this kit, and
will be doing the Lucky Strike Team Roberts version... Wow!

Andrea - what did you use to get the "satin" effect for the black number plate on the tail piece?

Very nice Andrew!! I'm always watching your work, admiring it...
I'm tempted to machine a rear shock reservoir on the lathe and send it to you!
Let me know when you start your Lucky Strike version

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Andrea - did you paint the black number backgrounds or are they the decals??
Someone or even I might have asked before but I do not remember - getting old lol
I know you masked them for the matt clear, but did you also mask and paint the black
Thanks
John
